RZ Rebuild

East Coast RZ's New Project--RTZ350

my93tz250rollingchassis.jpg
My RZ:  1985 W/R/B Yamaha RZ350.  Currently about 7500 miles on the bike, I am the 3rd owner--guy I bought it from had another RZ, found this one in the original owner's garage, bought it and sold it to me immediately--that kind of makes me the 2nd owner.
Engine:
Just had its first rebore due to a missing choke balance tube between the carbs.  2-into-1 Y-boot with RamAir Filter, Stage 3 Dyno-jet kit, Toomey Pipes, 1" 5 fin in-line cooler, Toomey battery box, still using Autolube pump.
Chassis
Front End--Tapered roller bearings, 86 Canadian RZ forks, rebuilt and polished, R1 calipers with brackets to fit (thanks to NigelK), 86 wheel, SS brake lines (2 line setup), GSXR1000 front master cylinder and remote resevoir, vortex clip-ons, standard clocks and switchgear, Ohlins steering damper.
Rear End--Complete 86 Canadian rear end to include wheel, swingarm, brake caliper, torque arm.  Brembo rear master cylinder and remote resevoir, 2004 R1 shock (fully adjustable!).  Stock rearsets.
Drive
X-Ring blue chain, stock sprockets, EBC clutch.
Bodywork:
Stock upper Kenny Roberts fairing and stock chin cowl.  I have the stock seat, a Giuliari solo seat (HOT), and an Airtech YZR500 replica solo seat and seat cowl, plus stock cowl.
Future Plans:
Either a JMC swingarm, or an FZR400.  USD forks.  TZ250 full fairing.  Aftermarket rearsets.  Wheels--lighter and able to fit modern rubber onto them (17").  Cant think of anything else right now.
